Rick Valdez was fresh out of high school in 1986, and had dreams bigger than most kids. He always knew he wanted to own a company, and build a family legacy. At 18 he embarked on an HVAC class at Oxnard College and got an apprenticeship lined up at Anderson HVAC once he was finished, with the original owner Jim Anderson.

After working for Jim for only four years, Jim saw that Rick was special. Offering Rick ownership at age 22, because of his natural go-getter attitude and dedication to the company. Rick’s dreams were coming true, he took this opportunity on and brought Patricia, his wife, on to manage the office while raising two babies. And together, they navigated the complexities of growing the business as a young couple.

Now joined by their son Rich Valdez, Anderson HVAC continues to lead the future of HVAC while staying true to its roots. Serving Oxnard and Ventura counties since 1986, they pride themselves on honesty and quality in every job. With family at the heart of it all, their commitment to the community remains strong.
